La Lame Inc.


	La Lame has been a major supplier to the intimate apparel market for the past 20 years. We introduced some of the most successful product lines in history with Vanity Fair (My Satin Fantasy) and Bali (Satin Tracings) with our deluster printed stretch satin. Today we still do business with many well-known intimate brands: Warners, On Gossamer, Natori, Oscar De La Renta Lingerie, Ralph Lauren Lingerie Donna Karan Intimates Felina Etc. Ben Schneer founded la Lame in 1946. We were primarily suppliers to the Church and Military Uniform manufacturers for which we still are today. In the late 70s we branched out into fashion apparel and started selling stretch fabrics to the swimwear and sportswear markets. The fabrics were mostly made in Europe. In the mid 80s La Lame started converting there own stretch fabrics mostly buying finished goods and having them printed, embossed, flocked, embroidered, etc. La Lame still does the converting of stretch goods in USA; however, the evolution of the market has taken us to Asia as well. We represent and import from mills in Korea, Taiwan and China that produce circular knits, warp knits and laces with stretch. We also still work with Europe and represent the following mills: Jabouley, SA: stretch laces from France Balas Textiles: circular knits and performance fabrics from France MG' Creation: stretch wovens from France Langendorf: elastic and lace trims from Germany
